Local history museum Jänschwalde, 2014

When I asked myself why I was visiting Jänschwalde again, I noticed that it was the longing for the simple life and the thought of people keeping traditions alive which attracted me. As I realized that my romanticised idea of village life does not match with reality, I went into exile - to the only place in Jänschwalde which met my nostalgic expectations: the local history museum. I have been living there for three days.
