The video work is focussing on the hands of my grandmother and myself, baking an apple strudel together. In her moves one can see the experience and expert-knowledge resulting from more than 80 years of baking. While making a strudel she has an impressive physical strength and every move is fast and accurate. My hand movements are, in comparison, unsteady and searching.
